Family Services:

Heartview Foundation has always had family members involved in the treatment process.  We support and educate family members as they deal with the disease process.  Family members are often involved in the assessment process as a collateral source.  During the treatment process, family members attend family group sessions and patient/family sessions.  Patients attending treatment during daytime hours have family members involved during a three-day period towards the end of the primary care.  Patients attending treatment in the evening have family members attend six Thursday evening sessions.  Significant others are also involved in the aftercare sessions following primary care.
